Changing Direction

It has been a while since I’ve updated this website and many things have shifted in the past couple years. First and foremost, I recently pivoted from leading a pre-sales focussed technical team across networking, data center and automation technologies to leading our delivery engineering team. This incurred a promotion to a VP of Engineering role and with it, a shift in priorities from primarily technical leadership to technical and business leadership in tandem. I have been preparing for this type of role for some time, having digested dozens of leadership, strategy and business books. To that point, I’m now in a position where I am motivated to continue accelerating that study focus. In the future, I plan on blogging here about these new topics as I continue to dive deeper into technical leadership and the business world of engineering. Stay tuned!
